Peak Performance Tutoring using the David Schwartz Method™ of Organizing Dynamics This special bundle of product and service is guaranteed to get your child self-organized with their papers at school and at home. The tutoring is offered at our Hopkinton, MA office conveniently located right off route 495 at 88a Elm St. If you are out of range of our office in Hopkinton and seek tutoring under this program, we may have sessions offered in your area by one of our trained regional mentor/tutors. Please email us with your inquiry and we will try to accommodate you. We are working on scheduling sessions using our elearning outreach, which will permit us to conduct these sessions remotely. If you wish to participate in a remote session, make your booking and email us to schedule this as a remote session. This program includes two sessions, one with the parent and one with the student and parent. The first 1 hour session is with the parent. The basic intervention is completed with the parent as if they were the student. This permits the parent to understand the point of view of the student and how to mentor them once they get underway. This is the single most effective way to provide this type of assistance, and lowers the cost of tutoring, since we give you the basic tools and methods to mentor your child around binder organizing. Maybe the reason your child is underperforming has simply to do with their ability to get and stay organized. The second session with the student is 1 hour. The parent will reenter this session 10 minutes before it ends for a demonstration. This synchronizes with the pick up step and allows the student to show their proficiency with the new tools. Upon leaving, the parent and student will have a common language and set of tools with which to manage the process of organizing, with the student in the drivers seat. Please order at least 1 DocOA Platinum Edition Organizing Assistant kit when you select this program. It is recommended that the parent purchase a 1 subject version for their training and demonstration. Both products are offered at a substantial discount when you purchase this option. The 6 subject version is used for the student. The products will be delivered during the tutoring session. Access codes for all the down load materials, game and simulator are included with this bundled package. Your session will be booked once you have completed the purchase of both the product and service associated with this tutoring package. Your session will be confirmed with an email that schedules your training session. Note, there is an optional 20 minute tune up session in which both the student and parent attend together to review their use and discuss any continuing issues that they are having. These sessions are scheduled on an individual basis and can be arranged on either Mondays or on Saturday mornings depending on your need and available session times. Please look for this tutoring offering under its separate product code. All MA sessions are scheduled on Mondays. All remote sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays. When you contact us, please indicate whether you are scheduling a local or a remote tutoring session. Parent sessions start at 10:00am. Student sessions start at 2:30pm and run throughout the afternoon. Parents and Students will be seen in group sessions of up to 4. Sessions will be scheduled as long as 1 parent/student is attending. Any parent that wants to set up a group with their peers is welcomed to schedule joined session by booking this for up to 4 total participants. We have found that group sessions can be more fulfilling and enlightening and many times the participants find they can help eachother both during and after the sessions. We prefer to book the sessions via email confirmation. Once you place your order, you will receive a confirming email with the next available monday sessions. When you elect your session, you will get a confirmation email which will be your entry pass for the session. Please print off a copy and bring this with you the first visit.
